The June 2006 issue of Rowtrade marked the twelfth anniversary of publication.

The first edition was published in June 1994 Rowtrade was initially developed as a vehicle to carry advertisements for second hand rowing boats, related equipment and accessories throughout Australia .

Within a short period of time manufacturers and suppliers of rowing equipment began to advertise also. This aspect has continued to expand to the point where almost all major Australian suppliers of rowing related equipment and services are regular advertisers.

As well, Rowtrade has human resources advertising with schools seeking coaches and rowing specific administrative staff. Advertisements have also been run for National Rowing Conferences and coaching courses. While Rowtrade will now be available on this website it is our intention to maintain the past practice of publishing in hard copy, with free delivery to all rowing clubs and rowing schools (that we are aware of). Ten issues are published each year on a monthly basis with the exception of the months January and July.

As part of the website we are developing an ongoing register of equipment for sale which may not have been sold during the period of an advertisement's run (usually two months).

To place a classified listing, send us the wording / description of the items to be advertised and a cheque or money order to the value of $25 per item. Larger block display advertisements start at $60 and are charged according to space required.
